Yahoo Finance names managing editor

Feb 01, 2016

Yahoo Finance welcomes Sam Ro as managing editor, charged with overseeing and directing the site’s editorial content starting Feb. 29. Ro comes from Business Insider, where he served as deputy editor and led the site's coverage of global markets.

"Looks like I'm finally gonna upgrade from Hotmail," Ro jokes on Twitter.

"Congrats! The Louisvillian takeover of business media is proceeding exactly as planned," replies LinkedIn finance editor Dan Roth, cc'ing WSJ's Dennis K. Berman in the process.

Ro retweeted that and adds, "This is the real news."
