Question of the day
Our last question asked: Nestle recently recalled nearly 3 million frozen pizza and ravioli products after they were found to contain what special ingredient? That would be glass, of course! (Corona also recently recalled a small number of bottles because of glass contamination).
Congratulations to Sarah-Ann Soffer (who adds "Sounds dicey") for being the very first to get that right! Honorable mentions go out to these fine folks for also answering correctly: Dan Rosenbaum (whose answer was "Greater-than-maximum RDA amounts of glass in what was otherwise processed food-like product"), Margo Howard (who notes it's "just like in the time of the Medicis"), Ken Walker, Mark Gibbs (who quips "Spinach blamed. Next up, carrots accused of conspiracy, onions deny involvement"), Ron Casalotti (who shares this old Nestle commercial for good measure).
As for today's question, here it is: According to Politico's Andrew Saunders, the last time a party's bigwigs tried to stop a front-runner from becoming president, this happened. What was it?
