Journo job moves for Friday

Your job moves to know for today:

  • Motherboard's Adrianne Jeffries (at right) just announced she is stepping down, destination (or new role) as yet unknown. "I have the best job. I want to pass it on to someone amazing," Jeffries tweets. Hint, hint: that means a job opening for you work seekers.
  • Nathalie Granda just made her on-air debut at ABC 30 Fresno (KFSN-TV) as a reporter in their Merced bureau, working the weekday 4 and 6 p.m. newscasts. Granda hails from KVII in Amarillo, Texas, where she served as a multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor.
  • Coming soon (next September): The Washington Post is prepped to welcome David Filipov as Moscow bureau chief. Filipov previously acted as a multimedia reporter on the arts and lifestyle beat at the Boston Globe, but also served as their Moscow bureau chief for over a decade.
