Mashable adds deputy tech editor

Jul 27, 2016

Mashable just named Damon Beres its newest deputy tech editor, charged with driving technology coverage as well as stories produced for the publication's Snapchat Discover channel. Beres is finishing up at the Huffington Post, where he is senior technology editor (so it's reasonable to assume he'll bring to the table lots of experience from that role)!

"Friday will be my last day at HuffPost. I've worked with so many incredibly talented people here, and I'll miss them very much," Beres tweets, later adding, "Side note: I'd like to mention that my first appearance at Mashable was technically in '16 people who are hot for McDonald's new Hamburglar'."

... to which Bloomberg View's Mark Gongloff replies, "a star was born!"

He's not joking, guys. You should give that link a click.
