Question of the day

Aug 25, 2016

Our last question asked: People are flocking to Palawan, Philippines to see a giant, 75-pound what? And why are we only seeing it now, after 10 years? A fisherman may very well have found the world's largest natural pearl, but he kept it hidden under his bed for a decade as a good luck charm. In case you were wondering, it was valued at $93 million in 2003!

Congrats to Laura Kath of Mariah Marketing for being the very first to answer that correctly (and adding the hashtag #WhamBamThankYouClam)! Honorable mentions go out to Tiffany R. JansenMark GibbsNatalie Tindall (who adds this gif reaction), Michele MillerRon Casalotti (who quips "What kind of bed? An oyster bed, of course"), John WallDebkrol (who laments the pearl is "Alas, not one of sorely-needed wisdom this election cycle) and Carrie Gray for all getting that exactly right, too.

As for today's question, here it is: What got Athlon Sports contributor Jim Weber banned from Twitter recently?
