Question of the day
Our last question asked: What got Athlon Sports contributor Jim Weber banned from Twitter recently? Posting a GIF of Aly Raisman's floor routine. You see, the IOC banned the press from using GIFs, but because many Twitter users create GIFs out of footage that rightfully belongs to the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and NCAA, Weber wagered there wouldn't be too much risk. He was wrong. Fortunately, after his tale of woe went viral, his permanent Twitter suspension was "coincidentally lifted."
Congrats to Craig Pittman of the Tampa Bay Times for being the very first to answer that correctly! Honorable mentions go out to these fine folks for also getting it right: his colleague Ken Walker, Carrie Gray, Stefanie Schwalb (who quips "Talk about a #wipeout"), Lucia A. Walinchus, Cindi Lash, David Daniel (who theorizes "judges' review?"), Mark Gibbs (who observes Weber "Can whine all he likes but he was knowingly violating copyright"), Jay Andrew (who adds "Your attention please, Aly Raisman has the floor"), Claudine Laforce, Waterfield Designs (who reacts "Really? Twitter follows copyright laws?"), Buck Borasky and Natalie Tindall (who punctuates her response with this perfect "whoops" gif).
As for today's question, here it is: According to the Wall Street Journal, who is Twitter’s new favorite financial analyst?
