  • Mariana Atencio (pictured here!) has just started at MSNBC as a Miami-based correspondent. Atencio hails from Univision and Fusion, where she first joined Univision as a correspondent in 2011 and eventually anchored for Fusion when it first launched. Most recently she co-anchored Univision 23’s program Al Punto Florida.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the industry:

  • Last night was Dan Arnall's debut as executive producer of NBC’s Nightly News Weekend. Arnall joins from Bloomberg TV, where he served as deputy head of global television operations.
  • Stephanie Castillo boards Fortune as an online associate editor. Castillo previously served as front-page editor for Medical Daily’s website.
  • Danica Lo goes freelance, leaving behind her gig at Women’s Wear Daily online. Lo was until recently their digital director.
