Journo job moves for Wednesday

The Associated Press is expanding its environmental coverage by forming a digital-first global team to report on issues that affect the earth's climate, air, water, land and wildlife:

  • Phoenix-based West Enterprise editor Raghuram Vadarevu (pictured here!) will oversee the team, which will includes veteran journalists based in California, Montana, Illinois, Florida, Michigan, New England and Washington, as well as correspondents in Sweden, India and New Zealand. Vadarevu is an expert in multiformat presentation.

  • Tim Reiterman in San Francisco and Tom McCarthy in Chicago will head a team of reporters, photographers, video journalists and others as they cover the impacts of environmental problems around the world, such as global warming, pollution and the stripping of natural resources.
