Questions need answers. And at Muck Rack we are always happy to provide both.
Yesterday we asked: "Last night, HBO debuted the much-anticipated sci-fi adventure epic Westworld to predominantly positive reviews. But the show is actually based on a 1973 film of the same name. What director, known primarily as a very famous fiction writer, made the original movie?"
And the answer is... (drum roll please) Michael Crichton.
Here's a cool fact about that movie that we found on Wikipedia: Crichton's 1973 movie Westworld contains one of the earliest references to a computer virus, and the first mention of the concept of a computer virus in a movie. Anyone else totally want to check to make sure their virus software is up to date?
Congrats to writer Chris Lombardi of Philadelphia, for being the first to tweet us with the correct answer. And thank you for playing our game.
Speaking of games, we'll take game show feats for $1,000, Alex: This guy is setting the Jeopardy! world on fire with his impressive win streak. Even Alex Trebek is impressed with his winnings, which total more than $200,000. Tonight he goes for his 12th win. What is this man's name? (It's not a rule at Muck Rack, but it would be awesome if you would please answer in the form of a question. Because Jeopardy!)
