The New York Times adds to investigative team; former UK finance minister named editor of The Evening Standard
Ellen Gabler, Michael LaForgia and Brian M. Rosenthal are joining the investigative team at The New York Times. Gabler joins after five years at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, while LaForgia makes the move from the Tampa Bay Times. Rosenthal was previously a statehouse reporter for the Houston Chronicle based in Austin.
Across the Atlantic, The Evening Standard has announced that its new editor is George Osborne, former chancellor of the Exchequer. The move has raised some questions since Osborne will retain his seat in Parliament, representing the constituency of Tatton in northwestern England.
