Changes at HuffPost; Mankoff revives cartoons at Esquire; Goldmacher joins New York Times

It’s official: Jim Rich will be the new executive editor at HuffPost as of May 15. Rich was most recently editor in chief of the New York Daily News, where under his leadership, the paper won a Pulitzer Prize for public service journalism. Meanwhile, HuffPost's longtime D.C. Bureau Chief Ryan Grim is leaving to head The Intercept’s Washington bureau.

Bob Mankoff, cartoon editor for the New Yorker for the past two decades, has joined Esquire as its new cartoon and humor editor. And Shane Goldmacher, POLITICO's chief White House correspondent, will be joining The New York Times as Metro’s Chief Political Correspondent.
