Question of the Day
Yesterday we asked: Where would you find the oldest continuous parliamentary body in the world?
Answer: We were looking for either the Isle of Man (Tynwald), Iceland (Althing) or the Faroe Islands (Lagting).
Congrats go to…Craig Pittman, who was the first to tweet a correct answer, with Tynwald (Isle of Man). Bonus points go to Lorraine Berry, who tweeted, “The Iroquois have been at it for a long time. The Isle of Man. And Iceland?” The Iroquois are certainly another contender for the title. And we also have to give an honorable mention to Dawn Burkes for her answer: “Isle of Man? Iceland? George Clinton? Will the real parliament please stand up?” We told you it was a hotly debated topic.
Your question of the day for today is…Dogs aren’t the only animals doing police work. What animal might you find on patrol in China’s Xinjiang province?
