Comings and goings at The New York Times; Fahey moves to Scripps News

Pradnya Joshi, currently the assistant business editor for digital news at The New York Times, will join POLITICO at the end of the month as its agriculture and trade editor. Prior to The New York Times, where she has been since 2006, Pradnya spent almost a decade at Newsday. Meanwhile, Sheera Frenkel, who originated the cybersecurity beat for BuzzFeed in 2015, has joined The New York Times in San Francisco to cover cybersecurity for BizDay. She has previously worked for the Times of London, McClatchy and NPR.

At CNBC, Mark Fahey is leaving his role as a data journalist and graphics editor to join the Scripps News Washington bureau as a computer-assisted reporting producer. Prior to CNBC, Mark worked at CNN Money and The Wall Street Journal.
