Promotions, changes at MSNBC, ESPN, O The Oprah Magazine, Axios

As part of MSNBC’s efforts to expand live news programming on the weekends, Washington Post columnist and MSNBC contributor Hugh Hewitt is getting his own half-hour show on the network, airing Saturdays at 8 a.m. ET.

At ESPN, Connor Schell has been promoted from senior vice president and executive producer to executive vice president of content. Schell previously served as president and executive producer at ESPN Films.

Brian Underwood has left Dr. Oz The Good Life to serve as the new beauty director for O The Oprah Magazine. And Sam Baker has joined Axios as its deputy health care editor. He previously covered the Supreme Court and health care for The National Journal and The Hill.
