Changes at The Canadian Press; new editors at News Tribune, Pittsburgh magazine
Alexandra Posadzki, who spent three years covering banking and real estate for The Canadian Press news service, has joined Toronto’s Globe and Mail as a business reporter. She also previously worked at Business News Network (BNN), Global News and the Toronto Star. Meanwhile, Sunny Freeman has been named The Canadian Press’s new business editor. She most recently worked for the Financial Post, covering the resources beat. Before that, she worked at The Huffington Post, The Toronto Star and held a previous business reporter/editor role at The Canadian Press.
Dale Phelps is the new editor of the Tacoma News Tribune. Since 2008 he’s been the managing editor for the paper. And Brian Hyslop, the former business editor of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, has been named editor of Pittsburgh magazine. He previously worked as an editor in the features department and held other positions at the Post-Gazette and the Pittsburgh Press. He left the Post-Gazette in 2015 to launch the community newspaper Print.
