Last week, Time magazine announced that Edward Felsenthal has been named its new editor-in-chief, replacing Nancy Gibbs, who is stepping down from the editor-in-chief role she took over in 2013. Felsenthal previously served as the magazine’s digital editor. Gibbs is ending a 32-year run at Time, but will remain at the magazine until the end of the year.

Claire Atkinson is leaving the New York Post for NBC News, where she’ll continue to cover the media business beat. She has previously reported for Variety, Broadcasting & Cable and The Hollywood Reporter. Earlier in her career, she was a freelance writer for the British edition of Entertainment Weekly, The Express, The Independent and the Observer, among others, and was an associate editor for Mediaweek in the UK.
