New roles for Darlin, Windolf, Zeitchik

Damon Darlin us joining Reuters as Editor, Money and Politics in its Washington bureau. He has been an editor at The New York Times and its policy, economics and politics site The Upshot for the past three years. Before that, Darlin worked as a technology editor and personal finance columnist at The New York Times. He has also worked at The Wall Street Journal, Forbes and U.S. News and World Report.

Meanwhile, Jim Windolf has taken on the role of media editor at The New York Times. He had led the Men’s Style section since it was founded in 2015, and prior to helping create that new section, he was editor in chief of M. Windolf has also worked at Vanity Fair, Punch and the New York Observer, where he eventually served as executive editor. His writing has appeared in The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, New York and many others.

Steve Zeitchik is joining The Washington Post to cover the business of entertainment. He has spent the last eight years at the Los Angeles Times and has also made frequent appearances on NPR and has contributed to The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. He previously worked for The Hollywood Reporter and Variety
