Changes at Kiplinger's, Vox

Oct 02, 2017

Anne Kates Smith has been promoted to executive editor of Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine, where she’ll be overseeing all investment content. She joined the magazine in 2001 and recently served as editor of the “Ahead” section. Before Kiplinger’s, Anne worked for USA Today, U.S. News & World Report and TheStreet.

Vox founder Ezra Klein announced that he’s handing over the editor-in-chief reins to executive editor Lauren Williams. His new title will be editor at large. Allison Rockey, who had been Vox’s director of programming, will take over the executive editor role. Klein left The Washington Post to launch the site in 2014.
