Question of the Day

Nov 02, 2017

Yesterday we asked: Who is said to haunt the White House rose garden?

Answer: That’s Dolley Madison.

Congrats to Jude Isabella, first to tweet the correct answer. Mark Harper notes that her “snack cakes are also haunting.” Deb Krol noted, “Dolley Madison-who protects the Rose Garden-from what, I have no idea. BTW, She also saved Washington's portrait when the Brits burned the WH in 1814.” Radio Riter was precise with, “Dolley Madison -who planted it.” Katie North was close with, “The EPA's former use of science.” And an honorable mention shout-out goes to Dan Tynan for playing along.

Your question of the day for today is…After 17 World Series wins, seven as a player and ten as a coach for the New York Yankees, Frank Crosetti decided he didn’t want another engraved ring. What did the Yankees start giving him instead?
