Changes at The Daily Beast, Bustle, WIRED, Chicago Sun-Times
Taylor Lorenz is joining The Daily Beast to cover technology. She is currently a senior editor and director of emerging platforms at The Hill. Before that, she served as an executive producer at People and Entertainment Weekly. She’s also consulted for the Daily Mail, Refinery 29, The Atlantic, WordPress and Maxim, and served as freelance director of strategy and partnerships at Mental Floss. Before consulting, Lorenz was a tech reporter at Business Insider.
Samantha Rollins, previously news editor for Vulture, has joined Bustle as its TV editor. She has also written for The Week, The New York Times and The New Yorker. Jeffrey Van Camp, who has been the deputy managing editor for Digital Trends, has joined WIRED as a senior writer, covering product reviews and guides.
And Chris Fusco, who had been serving as the Chicago Sun-Times’ interim editor-in-chief, has taken over the role full time. He was previously the paper’s managing editor.
