Question of the Day

Nov 14, 2017

Yesterday we asked: The title track to Fleetwood Mac’s “Tusk” album was recorded live with what band as the backing band?

Answer: That was the University of Southern California Trojan Marching Band, setting a record for the highest number of musicians performing on a single and earning the marching musicians a platinum disc.

Congrats to…Deirdre Blake, first again with the correct answer. Special shout-outs to Jack Schofield, who shared this video of the Trojan Marching Band performing the song, and Craig Pittman, who shared the original iconic music video, recorded in an otherwise empty Dodger Stadium.

Your question of the day for today is…Celebrity chef Lidia Bastianich got her start at age 14, working at a bakery in Astoria alongside her mother and what “feisty young man,” who was the teenaged son of the bakery’s owners?
