Hilda Gutiérrez has been hired by Telemundo Chicago for the launch of a new unit called Telemundo Chicago Investiga. She’ll be leading the unit, collaborating with sister-station NBC 5 Chicago on joint investigative projects. For the past seven years, Gutiérrez has worked at Estrella TV’s channel 62, first as a producer and then as an anchor and special assignments reporter.

Sarah Ellison, a writer and special correspondent for Vanity Fair magazine, is joining The Washington Post in January as a staff writer covering media and its intersection with politics, culture and technology. Before Vanity Fair, she spent a decade as a reporter for The Wall Street Journal. She began her career at Newsweek.

Josh Sternberg is the new tech editor for Adweek. Most recently, he was director of branded content at NBC News. He has also worked for The Washington Post and Digiday.
