Condé Nast has named Samantha Barry, who was most recently the executive producer for social and emerging media at CNN Worldwide, editor in chief of Glamour. She will become the magazine’s eighth editor since its founding in 1939 and the first person with an exclusively digital and television background to lead a Condé Nast magazine. Before CNN, Barry was a social media producer and journalist at BBC World News in London. She has also held newsroom positions for the Irish media outlets RTE and Newstalk.
At CBS News, anchor John Dickerson has been named co-host of CBS This Morning, replacing Charlie Rose. Dickerson, who joined CBS News in 2009, has anchored Face the Nation since June of 2015. He has been a reporter in Washington since 1995, covering the White House, Congress and economics, and he was Slate Magazine’s chief political correspondent, winning the Ford Prize for Distinguished Reporting on the Presidency.
