@AlastairDalton @jruddy99 @philatrail @RAIL @AlexHynes Thanks Alastair, incidentally from my ride in a class 385 cab I detected little difference between class 380 and class 385 acceleration. However both are an enormous improvement on the class 170 DMU. i.e 0-60 mph about 50secs vs 1 min 50 secs
@AlastairDalton @philatrail @RAIL @AlexHynes Until the line to Dunblane is electrified, the diesel trains will be running on 80% of Edinburgh to Glasgow line will surely prevent any significant improvements in journey times.
