From 2011-13, Somerville resident David Walsh-Sirianni worked on the serving staff at JP Licks Homemade Ice Cream Café in Somerville, Massachusetts. Besides providing customer service, David Walsh-Sirianni was in charge of completing the monthly inventory, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and opening and closing the store.

In his youth, Mr. Walsh-Sirianni played a number of sports, becoming a talented and accomplished athlete during his elementary and high school years. He played varsity basketball at Shady Hill School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Afterwards, he attended Darrow School, a co-ed college preparatory boarding and day school in New Lebanon, New York. There, he excelled in many sports, including lacrosse, basketball, and soccer, achieving varsity level in all three.

In addition to being the co-captain of the Darrow School varsity soccer team, David Walsh-Sirianni earned a number of accolades and recognitions, such as the Coach’s Award for varsity soccer and the Senior Student Speaker for the 2009 Parents Weekend. Additionally, he participated in the 2009 Senior Student Art Exhibition. To give back to his community, he functioned as a volunteer at the Homeless Meals Program during his high school years and beyond.
