@nefariousdtorre when i worked at Intel, my division had an explicit "Keep political opinions to yourself" policy. i have no idea how anyone at Google gets anything done.
In their quest to discriminate against nobody, Google has instead managed to discriminate against *everybody*
Running list of open lawsuits against Google: -Fillekes v. Google (age discrimination) -Ellis v. Google (gender discrimination) -Damore v. Google (discrimination against conservatives and white men) -Chevalier v. Google (discrimination against liberals)  https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2018/02/ex-google-engineer-i-was-fired-for-being-too-liberal/
@stewart @paulvigna @mdudas That doesn't include the cost of chargebacks, disputes, fines, penalties -- all of which are removed with bitcoin.
@stewart @paulvigna @mdudas Preposterous, how so? Bitcoin-as-currency bypasses all the steps on the second page. @paulvigna suggests tx fees of 1-3% for Starbucks, but the fees are much higher for a small biz without leverage. Eg. high-risk merchants pay upwards of 10% for processing fees alone.
