How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

If it's in an email during business hours--preferably in the morning, with my coffee--it'll get my full attention.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Aside from the usual, I work with Tableau, use code to customize Javascript plug-ins, analyze with Excel and R, and map with Google's API.

What's your favorite social network?

Twitter is the one I use most often, usually for rapid news updates and great article recommendations from journalists I follow.
