@samsiuca What does the SMART report say? The diagnostics sound is probably OK, but, for simple file copying, I don't think the sounds are usual at all (are you copying lots of small files?). I would keep backups of any data on it / retain receipt for warranty replacement, just in case

@davezatz @juliejacobson You have increased the probability of things not working - even if 1 of the N cloud servers involved (or, your Internet) conks out, you are out of luck. Give users an interoperable system that executes rules locally

@xdreamwalker @davezatz Mobile app being useless if the Internet is down is brutal for folks with unreliable ISPs! Fortunately, there are at least some smart home platforms that have both local & cloud modes in their app.
