@logan1305 @JaneyGodley She rejected the offer of a permit. She engaged with the parking company, admitting she was the driver. She didn't have to do that.
@logan1305 @JaneyGodley That section applies to England. Here, the law is on your side and only the driver is 'liable' for this so-called charge. In Scotland, nothing can compel the owner to identify the driver in cases like these.
@JaneyGodley @logan1305 Then there's no way for them to identify the driver. In England, I believe these parasites can go after the registered owner. Not here. The law is on your side.
@logan1305 @JaneyGodley In that case, the driver identifed herself. In Scotland, there is no legal way of forcing the driver to do that. These parasites would have to be able to prove who was driving the car. Don't engage with them.
