What was your first job as a journalist?

My first job was working as a writer for Ethos magazine, the student magazine at the University of Oregon.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes! When I was 14-years-old I wrote a 'zine on a city library typewriter about the punk scene in Bellingham, WA.

How is social media changing news?

Social media is changing the news by making it easier to share and find stories, but there are many other ways as well.
