What does it mean to be a journalist?

To do what I love - write, ask questions, and learn about the world and share new information with others in an engaging way.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

In person - part of the process is getting to know each other and growing a relationship that will yield better collaboration down the road.

Why did you become a journalist?

I've always enjoyed learning and talking and writing, and this profession offers an ideal opportunity to make a difference in the world.
