I was a stringer for my home county newspaper in Pennsylvania, the Pike County Dispatch.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes! I own one and use it when I'm feeling hipster and saucy. I can never understand why the words don't appear on my computer screen, though

Yes! I was editor in chief.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I don't do as much writing nowadays as I used to, so really I send my time being proud of enabling my team to produce amazing content daily.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Find the news where your passion and interests meet and stay there. It's called a niche, or in more mainstream publications, a beat.
What's your favorite drink?
I am partial to Manhattans, but also love a good glass of rye whiskey neat and many different beers and wines.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
On my phone.
