A tornado warning was issued for parts of the north Valley early Monday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Phoenix. The warning, which was in effect until 12:45 p.m, extended to the Cave Creek, Carefree and Camp Creek areas. Also around noon, NWS warned in a tweet of a “very strong storm across the north Valley, especially I-17 near Anthem.”A flash flood warning is in effect through Tuesday morning.
