But idk, they’re a new, fun, cool little thing and I think that makes them worthy of attention. They’re just lacking that element of creativity that I think their craft-like appearance suggests that they have.
They’re don’t look like Lego. You can’t endlessly take them apart and remake them in different forms. They’re single use, and I think that for me this makes them a little piece of disposable fun.
For the record I think it looks fine. I imagine most people will make the (amazing) cardboard contraptions, play with them for a few hours, and then put them on a shelf (where they should absolutely be displayed because, as I said, they look amazing).
I’m delighted to see how fast the two factions with extreme views on Nintendo Labo have formed.
