@JohnAMiceli We don't use either of those terms. We use "abortion rights advocates," usually.
I've received lots of email today asking why we say "anti-abortion" more often than "pro-life." It's worth noting that one of the most prominent activist groups embraces this label too:  https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/acts-of-faith/wp/2017/01/26/why-these-activists-dont-like-calling-themselves-pro-life-anymore/?utm_term=.6db6a6f42faa
@JohnAMiceli Thanks for asking! We and other news organizations have long stuck to the issue at hand -- abortion -- rather than opine about what "life" and "choice" mean. Some anti-abortion activists prefer the term to pro-life, also:  https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/acts-of-faith/wp/2017/01/26/why-these-activists-dont-like-calling-themselves-pro-life-anymore/?utm_term=.6db6a6f42faa
