What was your first job as a journalist?

My first job as a journalist was freelancing for El Observador in SJ. I had been offered reg. work but couldn't afford to take it.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Believe it or not, kids, we got through four years of college not only by typing but sometimes with a manual machine. I miss those days!

What does it mean to be a journalist?

A journalist is someone who seeks and digs for the truth until it comes up panting and desperate for air. A journalist is relentless, smart.
