Egyptian Lentil Soup
Although it's not pretty to look at it has wonderful flavor. As others have done, I used chicken broth instead of water with great results. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly. If I had had some, fresh cilantro would be a great garnish in addition to some crumbled chips. This recipe was similar to lentil soup I had recently at a Mediterranean restaurant. It's a very filling, satisfying soup!
Bacon Ranch Easy Chicken Salad - Low Carb, Keto, THM
This Keto Chicken Salad Recipe is bursting with flavor. It is rich and creamy with cheddar, bacon, and dill. This is the BEST chicken bacon salad you will ever eat. It comes together in minutes as a delicious lunch or summer dinner with less than 2 net carbs per serving. Over the last few years, the bacon ranch flavor combination has become a favorite of my entire family. They love any dish with those flavors. Throw in some cheddar, too, and you have a real winner.
Frontiers | #EnufSnuff.TXT-FirstResponder: a pilot randomized controlled trial of a text message intervention for smokeless tobacco cessation among First Responders
Introduction First Responders (e.g., firefighters, emergency medical technicians and paramedics) are a high-risk group for chronic disease given high rates of tobacco use (1–3). Firefighters and EMTs represent a high-risk group for cancer given the occupational exposures associated with extinguishing fires and responding to other emergencies (3, 4).

Lemon Brussel Sprouts Original
Crisp-tender Lemon Brussel Sprouts are light and bright, made with shaved brussels sprouts, broth, lemon juice, and zest. Just 5 ingredients! This fat-free Brussels sprout recipe is all about texture and brightness, and these crisp-tender shaved Brussels sprouts will convince any skeptics to try them (My aunt, who is not a sprouts fan, loved them). The broth helps season the sprouts and wilts them faster. They’re a delicious, healthy side dish and a great addition to your Thanksgiving table.

Imaging hybrid perovskites while minimizing damage
The adjustable band gap, excellent charge-transport properties, and low-cost solution processability of organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites show significant potential for use of these materials in photovoltaic cells and light-emitting diodes (LEDs). Transmission electron microscopy has proven effective in understanding the composition and electronic properties of the perovskites.

Hydrodynamic interactions within fish schools
Fish schooling serves several purposes including predator defense, socialization, and hydrodynamics. At the human level, understanding the hydrodynamic benefits of schooling behavior can help optimize underwater vehicles. Kelly et al. used 2D simulation to investigate high-fidelity fluid analysis within a large fish school. To mimic fish schooling and swimming, the authors imposed wave kinematics on classical airfoil shapes that represented fish bodies.
Producing next-generation transistors through doping
Two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides, TMDs, have become immensely popular in the quest to produce faster, more energy-efficient computation. While these materials possess many favorable functionalities, such as magnetism, ferroelectricity, and band-structure modulation, important challenges to the advancement of TMD-based semiconductors still exist. Younas et al. presented the advantages and limitations of several traditional and emerging doping methods for TMD transistors.

Brown - Pink Spotting in 9th Week post hysterectomy and I am paranoid
Re: Brown - Pink Spotting in 9th Week post hysterectomy and I am paranoid and Deep breaths. Some spotting can occur beyond our release dates and there's most often a rational cause behind it. Resuming sex, increased activity, a lingering stubborn stitch, and yes, granulation. Granulation is scar tissue covering an unhealed area which slows the healing underneath. If the granulation is dislodged, that can expose that unhealed area.
Young Boy Pays For Stay Cats Surgery By Selling Cinnamon Rolls
Hopefully, this good news story will put a smile on your face today. “I just couldn't stop thinking about her.” That’s what nine-year-old cat lover Sutter Rowse said after he saw a story about a stray cat that was in dire need of costly surgery. The cat named Hazel was found in a garbage dump with a broken hip. But Sutter knew if there was anything that could get community members to empty their pockets, it would be his mom’s cinnamon buns.
Silica-templated silver nanorods may lead to earlier disease diagnosis
Topics Plasmonics, Fluorescence, Nanomaterials, Nanorods, Fluorophores, Biosensors Because of their unique chemical and physical properties, anisotropic noble metal nanoparticles have shown notable potential in biosensing, cellular imaging, and cancer-related therapies. Silver’s optical properties make it an attractive material for use in these applications. However, the widely accepted silver-nanorod-synthesis route using cetrimonium bromide raises questions of toxicity and difficulty in removal.

A Taylor Street Thanksgiving
Leigh Ann Miller November 2, 2021 Columns, My Turn 119 Views October through December is my favorite time of year. I’m that person who decorates for fall in August and drinks pumpkin spice lattes when it’s still 90 degrees. Out of that whole glorious season, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Last year, I spent Thanksgiving in Treviso, Italy. I hadn’t planned on still being there that late in the season, but I can hardly complain. With 2020 being, well, 2020, it was a miracle I was in Italy at all.

Drivers of soil organic carbon (SOC) dynamics involve a combination of edaphic, human, and climatic factors that influence and determine SOC distribution across the landscape. High-resolution maps of key indicators of ecosystem health can enable assessments of these drivers and aid in critical management decisions.

creativity scares me a little
There’s a quote from artist Chuck Close that has stuck with me for months since I heard it in a documentary: “Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work.” It sounds harsh and condescending when taken out of context, as if Close is staring down at his nose directly at me, the one who is continually searching for inspiration.
Central Park
I'd consider Central Park as the oasis of NYC. It's a little bit of tranquility in a city that never sleeps. Stop in, grab a map and you can easily spend a whole day exploring this huge park. Enjoy! Upvoted 3 days ago Love my park. I've been taking 6 mile walks around Central Park 3 times a week. Sheep's Meadow is a great place to hang out for a picnic. Tavern on the Green is an awesome spot to grab a drink. Upvoted Jun 19 Great to experience as often as you can. So much to do and see.
