Several hundred persons were in line Monday in the Empire Room of Wilbarger Memorial Auditorium in Vernon, waiting to be served turkey, ham, dressing and all the trimmings during the 31st annual Christmas Day Holiday Spirit Meal. Several members of the Altus, Okla., based AirEvac Life Team assisted with the serving duties. A special treat at the Christmas meal was the appearance of Santa Claus. Kids and parents taking pictures were lined up as Santa spoke with the children and passed out gifts.
VERNON – The 31st annual Christmas Day Holiday Meal will be served starting at noon Dec. 25 in the Empire Room of Wilbarger Memorial Auditorium located at 2100 Yamparika St., according to organizers Sharon and Billy Goins. The meal is the second holiday meal served free to the public this year as part of the holiday spirit meal program. A total of close to 1,000 meals were served for the Thanksgiving Day meal.

A tradition that feeds hundreds of local and area residents hot meals on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Exact case matching or punctuation
If you're searching for a brand name or keyword that relies on specific punctuation marks or capitalization, you can

Use parentheses to separate multiple
boolean phrases. For example, to find journalists talking about having fun in Disney World or
Disneyland, search for ("disney world" OR disneyland) AND fun.
An asterisk can be used to search for any variation of a root word truncated by the asterisk. For example, searching for admin* will return results for administrator, administration, administer, administered, etc.
A near operator is an AND operator where you can control the distance between the words. You can vary the distance the near operation uses by adding a forward slash and number (between 0-99) such as strawberries NEAR/10 "whipped cream", which means the strawberries must exist within 10 words of "whipped cream".
