The Wilmslow boss of an airport ‘meet and greet’ parking firm has been jailed for three years and two months for tax evasion amounting to more than £460,000. Brian Pearson Hawthorne Avenue, had pleaded guilty after it was found he kept income tax and National Insurance that he had deducted from 60 of his staff between April 2008 and November 2015. His firm, MIA Secure Parking Ltd – later known as UK Premier Parking Ltd – looked after the cars of tourists flying out of Manchester Airport.
