PITTSFIELD — Should the city impose a curfew? What to do about all the poverty, violence and unattended children? Many questions arose during a neighborhood meeting Tuesday at the Christian Center, but only one resounding solution materialized: bring the community together. Open a door, talk to the person who smells bad, and help babysit for those neighbors working three jobs. Those stand among the suggestions for how to start building neighborly trust and taking a collective stand against violence.
