An Ash man died in single-vehicle wreck early Sunday morning. Casimiro Barron, 50, was driving a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder east on N.C. 904 near S.R. 1300 shortly before 1 a.m. when he lost control of it after leaving a curve in the road, North Carolina State Highway Patrol 1st Sgt. Matthew W. King said in a news release. The SUV ran off the right side of the road before flipping, hitting a tree and stopping in a yard off N.C. 904, King said.
