CBS News Sunday Morning is an American newsmagazine television program that has aired on CBS since January 28, 1979. Created by Robert Northshield and original host Charles Kuralt, the 90-minute program currently airs Sundays from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Eastern, Pacific Time from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. and 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. in all other time zones (live in the Eastern and Central time zones, and on tape delay elsewhere). The show is hosted by Jane Pauley, who succeeded Charles Osgood on October 9, 2016. Osgood was the host for twenty-two years, taking over from Kuralt in April 1994. Substitute host is Lee Cowan.
