Kenton Muir had to have a scan on Wednesday. Doctors at OU Medical in Oklahoma City wanted to see how the radiation treatment was impacting the cancer in his colon.Muir was driven to the appointment by his 22-year-old caretaker, Lucian Walker. Muir, 53, has been blind for 20 years. Diabetes took his sight. The same disease took his kidneys. In 2001 his kidneys began to fail. On Valentine’s Day 2006, he received a kidney transplant.“It was a perfect six point match,” Muir said of his new kidneys.
