It was a mid-September evening and Charlton Athletic manager Karl Robinson had finished his duties for the day. After a quick shower and a change into his civvies he was ready for the next item on his to do list. But rather than going home or studying a highlights package of their next opponents, he hung around to watch the under-8s down at the club's Sparrows Lane training ground. One team was short of a player so Robinson, in jeans and shoes, joined in. "I can't help myself," he says, grinning.
