Greeley Tribune

Nathan C. Meeker, an agriculture writer for Horace Greeley at the New York Tribune, founded the Greeley Tribune in 1870. Its first issue was published on Nov. 16, 1870. The Tribune was a weekly paper from 1870 to 1908, when it became a daily; in 1913, the Tribune purchased two other dailies in Greeley. Source
