No Fatalities In A Northern Sask. Plane Crash. All 25 people on board a twin engine plane that crashed near Lake Athabasca survived, although there were some injuries, and some patients were taken by air ambulance to Saskatoon. The turbo-prop aircraft had just taken off from the airport at Fon du Lac in northern Saskatchewan, but went down about a kilometer away. Saskatoon-based West Wind Aviation says the plane crashed on a scheduled fight to Stony Rapids.
