The Hellenic Journal

In April 1975, following the invasion of Cyprus, Frank P. Agnost founded The Hellenic Journal, the only newspaper west of the Mississippi published on a regular basis and dedicated to the coverage of news from Greece as well as the American Greek communities throughout the country. The newspaper was published twice monthly and it was a family affair. Throughout the life of The Hellenic Journal his daughter Adrienne was involved in all aspects of publishing the paper along with her husband, Nick Verreos. Source
