There was no personal agenda, no game plan to kick start her tenure as HBA president. She didn’t have a platform, a soapbox or a script to follow. She took the job, she admits today, largely because no one else wanted it. Confident in her own abilities and not one to step away from a challenge, she was savvy enough to know what was ahead of her.
