The New York Mets have a ton of holes to fill this offseason. Last year’s fire sale at the trade deadline has left their roster incredibly weak at key positions, especially on the infield. Outside the injury-ridden David Wright, the Mets lost first baseman Lucas Duda and second baseman Neil Walker in salary-dump trades. They have also not yet chosen to re-sign shortstop Jose Reyes. As of right now, the only definite starters in New York’s 2018 infield are Amed Rosario and Asdrubal Cabrera.
