One of the strongest players on this year's Nipawin Hawks bench is Brandan Arnold, a 20-year-old from Dodsland, Saskatchewan. Arnold, not to be confused with his brother Kenzie, who also plays for the Hawks, is currently the eight ranked skater in the SJHL. Despite being from the more southern parts of the province, Arnold is no stranger to the region, having played two years of AAA hockey in Tisdale. "It was tough leaving home at 15," he said. "But it was definitely worth it."
